A Baroque + Nature Inspired Summer Wedding

  • Come with me for any few minutes of unbridled and completely lovely escapism in today's showstopping summer wedding. There's a stylish couture gown of dreams, probably the most gossamer light veil, colorful flowers in rich shades of yellow, orange, red, and pink, and also at the center of it all an exuberantly joyful couple celebrating their day inside a multilingual occasion with family members from all around the globe.

Meet Julia and Dmitrii, who have been married around 14 June 2018 at – an attractive and warm barn venue in the team at Cripps, situated around the Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire.

"We desired to show the good thing about nature throughout our wedding and that we loved the way the simplicity and placement of Hazel Gap reflected this. We were inspired through the baroque style although we didn't wish to lose the good thing about nature within our wedding; that's why we attempted to have plenty of flowers and chose Hazel Gap as our venue because of its simplicity and placement."

Julia's exquisite lace wedding dress was custom-made for her at their Barcelona atelier, and what an incredible experience that has to have been.

"It is made from scratch… which allowed me to possess a couple of changes towards the design to create my dress just like I wanted it…Minimalist, elegant, and ageless look. Perfect for any 150 cm tall bride!"

Photographer beautifully captured the spirit and essence of Julia and Dmitrii's day, and also the resulting images are full of sunshine, color, and elation.

"She created wonderful photographs in our day. We never doubted that they were the best photographer for all of us who would capture the best moments in our day. To say our photos are perfect would not be enough, and our English isn't enough to explain how thankful we're!"

Julia and Dmitrii first met in Moscow – these were both residing in different countries at that time, but work trips took them both towards the city.

"Dmitrii invited me to go to a musical 'The Phantom from the Opera', but throughout the interval, we left to possess the chance to chat to see more about one another as we both needed to leave Moscow soon, so I never learned the way the musical ended! We didn't have confidence in love in the beginning sight, but that which was that if not love in the beginning sight?"

Everyone sat right down to a wonderful feast, including salmon blinis, mixed grill along with a lemon sorbet with shots of iced vodka. made a sumptuous three-tier cake in shades of gold, pale pink, and ivory, monogrammed using the couple's initials and decorated with fresh flowers.

"There were several elements towards the day which were a little different to how traditional UK weddings run. The speeches took place throughout the meal, and any from the guests anytime throughout dinner can stand and say several words towards the happy couple."

    Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Flowers are crucial for any wedding, they create a dramatic switch to a venue. They might be expensive but it's vital to a fairytale. A week before the wedding we added more flowers which was the wisest decision."

"Share responsibilities, you don’t need to do everything yourself (like we did)! The wisdom that my maid of honor Kate explained in the morning, 'Your big day will fly so quick, don't forget to savor it!' It is true, so around the day forget planning and thinking, just benefit from the moment."
